Agro Granada Award for Caña Nature as a New Business Line

On 27th May, the 4th edition of the Agro Granada Awards was held at the CajaGranada Theatre in Granada.

This edition was organised by IDEAL, CMA and CaixaBank, with the collaboration of the Port of Motril and the San Isidro de Loja Cooperative.

The Agro Granada Awards recognise the trajectory of companies belonging to the agricultural and livestock sector in the province of Granada.

Among the award winners is Caña Nature, in the New Business Line category, in reference to our membership of Grupo La Caña and the success achieved with our products since our launch.

Recognition to Caña Nature for its proposal to the market and its investment in R+D+i

Caña Nature is a development of Grupo La Caña, which has among its objectives the possibility of offering consumers healthy, natural products with an outstanding flavour.

That is why the company’s fresh products are additive-free, preservative-free and 100% natural. Among them we offer guacamole, salmorejo, gazpacho and grated tomato. All tomato-based products have obtained certification for organic production and our entire catalogue has the V-Label quality seal as vegan products.

In addition, the Caña Nature range has recently been extended with Mexican sauce, avocado pulp and new formats available for the catering trade.

On the other hand, the Agro Granada Awards also recognise Caña Nature’s commitment to R&D&I as the main way to achieve fresh, natural, quality products. Among other things, our high-pressure cold processing, which allows us to maintain the properties of fresh ingredients and increase their shelf life by up to 7 weeks, stands out in this area.

During the prize-giving ceremony, Javier Valverde took the opportunity to thank the jury for this recognition of the effort made by the entire La Caña Group to advance in the creation of value in the agri-food chain and also to pay attention to the needs that may arise in society.
