Quality and Food Safety Policy

As a result of CAÑA NATURE‘s commitment to quality, legality, authenticity, and food safety, the Management of this company, through this Policy, wishes to convey to both our members and anyone related to us or our products, either directly or indirectly, our principles of commitment regarding quality, food safety, social responsibility, and sustainability, always taking care of the environment.

The Management of CAÑA NATURE focuses its Food Safety System based on the international IFS standards.

All of this is embodied in the continuous improvement of its effectiveness for the purpose of complying with legal and regulatory requirements and those mutually agreed upon with its customers.

This means:

  • Our ultimate goal is to maintain the highest level of quality and food safety in all our products.
  • To maintain the highest level of effectiveness, CAÑA NATURE’s activities have been systematized into procedures and technical instructions, and a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system has been implemented that complies with current legal requirements.
  • There are communication channels, both internal and external, that allow us to respond to demands for information related to the food safety management system.
  • To ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (including ethical, environmental, and labor) and those agreed upon with customers regarding the safety of products and services agreed upon.
  • Our organization declares through this Policy its intention to comply with the obligation to manufacture safe, legal, and authentic products.
  • Improvement in food safety guarantees and improvement of our processes involves an enhancement of resources, both human and material.
  • The company’s Management, as well as its responsible parties, will ensure environmental care in their actions as a result of the development of their production processes.
  • The company’s Management maintains, along with all the staff of the organization, a culture of quality and food safety, which will include at least: communication about food safety policies and responsibilities, training, employee feedback on food safety issues, and performance measurement.

The Management has documented and implemented Quality and Food Safety objectives which are consistent with the general objectives of the organization and with this policy. The Management commits to periodically review this policy and to make the necessary adjustments to the quality and food safety management system to ensure that it remains suitable to legal requirements, that safe and high-quality products continue to be produced, and that the effectiveness of the system is continuously improved.

This Policy is the way to guide the organization towards the improvement of its Management System, so it remains displayed in a visible place for all staff and is communicated to all levels of the organization whenever it undergoes a revision so that it can be implemented and maintained.
