Quality and Food Safety Policy

As a result of CAÑA NATURE’s commitment to quality and food safety, the Management of this company, through this Policy, aims to convey to all our members and anyone directly or indirectly related to us or our products, our principles of commitment to quality, food safety, social responsibility, and the environment.

CAÑA NATURE‘s Management focuses its Food Safety System based on international standards IFS and BRC.

All of this is reflected in the continuous improvement of its effectiveness in meeting legal and regulatory requirements and those mutually agreed with its customers.

This means:

  • Our ultimate goal is to maintain the highest level of quality and food safety in all our products.
  • To maintain the highest level of effectiveness, CAÑA NATURE‘s activities have been systematized into procedures and technical instructions, and a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system has been implemented to meet current legal requirements.
  • There are communication channels, both internal and external, that allow for responding to information demands related to the food safety management system.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (including ethical, environmental, and labor aspects) and those agreed with customers regarding product safety and agreed-upon services.
  • Our organization declares through this Policy its intention to comply with the obligation to manufacture safe, legal, and authentic products.
  • Improving food safety guarantees and the improvement of our processes involves the enhancement of resources, both human and material.
  • The company’s Management, as well as its responsible personnel, will ensure the environmental care of their actions as a consequence of the development of their production processes.

The Management has documented and implemented Quality and Food Safety objectives, which are consistent with the overall objectives of the organization and with this policy.

The Management commits to periodically reviewing this policy and making necessary adjustments to the quality and food safety management system to ensure its adequacy to legal requirements, the continued production of safe and high-quality products, and the continuous improvement of the system’s effectiveness.

This Policy serves as a means to guide the organization towards the improvement of its Management System, and it is displayed in a visible location for all staff and communicated at all levels of the organization each time it is reviewed to ensure implementation and maintenance.
